Welcome to the inaugural West Beach Triathlon, where adrenaline meets the stunning shores of South Australia!

Get ready to dive into the excitement of our brand-new triathlon event, set against the coastal backdrop of West Beach, Adelaide while still being close to the CBD. As the first race of the season, we’re kicking off on October 20th, 2024, promising an unforgettable day of swim, bike and run along with camaraderie, a flat course and stunning coastal views.

Whether you’re a seasoned triathlete or dipping your toes into the sport for the first time, there’s a distance for everyone at the West Beach Triathlon. Choose from our Sprint Distance, Enticer, or Kids categories, each offering a unique challenge and an opportunity to push your limits in a picturesque setting based at the Adelaide Sailing Club.

Sprint Race

750m swim / 20km cycle / 5km run
  • Individual and Teams $105 TA Member
  • Individual and Teams $120 Non TA Member (Includes Triathlon Australia one day membership)

Enticer Race

375m swim / 12km cycle / 2.5km run
  • $75 TA Member
  • $90 Non TA Member

Kids Race

100m swim/wade / 2km cycle / 1km run
  • $25 *This in an untimed race

AWARDS

  • All competitors will have Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and Female in each age group for the Sprint and Enticer events.
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Female, Male and Mixed teams in the Sprint Triathlon will receive an award.
  • Age groups are determined on your age at 31st December 2024.
  • Age groups are (Male and Female) U20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74,75-59, 80+, Multiclass.
  • Elite Male, Elite Female, Mixed Team for the Sprint Distance only.
