Victor Harbor Sprint Triathlon

This BRAND NEW EVENT will take place at the idyllic seaside location of Victor Harbor, South Australia. This debut sprint distance event is not only new on the SA calendar, but it will be the FIRST ever triathlon Australian Masters Games (AMG) Championship in SA, in the upcoming Australian Masters Games being held in Adelaide in 2023!!

Whether you wish to compete for the Australian Masters Games Title or not, this event is open to all participants. Offering 3 distances –Sprint, Enticer & kids/mini distances, this event caters for all levels. Our sprint distance will house the AMG Championships within this distance.

The location is stunning, and the course will feature a brand new Victor Harbor Bike Course and also our run will showcase the iconic new causeway running over to Granite Island where you may see a penguin or run alongside the famous Clydesdales and tram.

The Australian Masters Games (AMG) is a week-long festival of sport that brings together weekend warriors from around Australia and the world to enjoy an extensive sporting and social program at the spiritual home of the Australian Masters Games, Adelaide, South Australia.

The Australian Masters Games entry fees are $125 during the Early Bird period and $110 for those aged 70 and over. The fee is also comprised of a Sport Fee which is sport-specific and included in your payment total.

The Games entry fee is the same for all participants and is set by the Australian Masters Games organising committee. This Games fee component is directed towards the operational costs of staging the event, to ensure a well conducted event for all competitors. This includes the overall Games costs such as the Games Village and social program, ceremonies, and centralised services such as accreditation, staffing, first aid, etc.

The sport entry fee is paid by all participants in addition to the Games entry fee and differs by sport and/or event. This fee is set by the sport organiser, and goes towards the costs of conducting the individual sport competition, including venue hire, equipment and timing costs, etc.

  • Access to over 50 national standard, professionally organised sport competitions (remember, once you have paid your Games entry fee you can elect to play in as many sports as you like with only the additional sport fee payable)
  • Provision of a volunteer workforce to assist and support the delivery of the Games and associated special events.
  • Sports medicine services at venues
  • Exclusive participant only access to the SkyCityVillage venue
  • Exclusive entertainment at the SkyCity Village, including but not limited to;
  • Opening Ceremony entry

  • Midweek Party entry

  • Medals for place getters

750m swim / 20km cycle / 5km run

Enticer Course Race

300m swim / 10km cycle / 2.5km run

  • If you have entered the Australian Master Games, the Award Categories will be for the Sprint Distance in the following Age Groups: (Male and Female) 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74,75-59, 80+
  • All other competitors will have Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and Female in each age group for the Sprint and Enticer events.
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Female, Male and Mixed teams in the Sprint Triathlon will receive an award.
  • Age groups are determined on your age at 31st December 2023.
  • Age groups are (Male and Female) U20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74,75-59, 80+, Multiclass.
  • Elite Male, Elite Female, Mixed Team, Male Team & Female Team for the Sprint Distance only.
